When I get engrossed in something, I tend to forget other important stuff. I know I should do better to stay on top of things that goes in my life. I did get to do list notepad, but I am not even using it! I tend to get stuff that I don’t even use, even if I have to use it..

It’ll be nice to keep track of each other’s work… Not just mine, but my partner and vice versa. I think this will not only boost productivity but accountability.

I want a platform that allows us to start off small and offers scalability. As we get more consistent and develop good habit, we can add more detail and get better. Allowing for scalability with complexity would be great.

Let’s first look at calendar for us. I decided to go with google calendar, because we can simply create three simple calendars. Yours, Mine, and Ours. You already have yours and I already have mine. We just need to make “ours” and add it to both of our accounts.

ToolProsConsBest For
Google Calendar– Simple, intuitive
– Great for scheduling and shared calendars
– Integrates with Google Workspace
– Limited task management features
– Lacks advanced project management capabilities
– Personal or joint scheduling
– Simple calendar-based task tracking for shared activities

Afterwards, we can color codes. We can set up different colors for different events. For example, date nights could be red, house tasks could be green, etc.

Best yet, is the alerts that goes to both of us. Same alerts!

By sharing our calendars to each other and adding a calendar for both of us, we can separate it all. We can simply give each other access to each of our calendars and find a way to work with each other’s schedules!

I’m wanting to do this, because I want to be more transparent with my partner. I also think this builds trust. Not to mention this builds teamwork and eliminates miscommunication.

I want to prioritize our quality time, but I want to ensure I support my partner in her other endeavors. I want to be responsible and also hold my partner accountable. This may be a great way to develop partnership! A true partnership..
