I know I went over different labels of emotions… But I don’t think I properly went over them…. I keep missing and forgetting the intensities of emotions… For happy, if the emotions are high, you are elated, excited or thrilled. If the emotions are medium, then you are cheerful, satisfied, or good… If it’s low, then you are content, pleased, or glad….

Intensity of feelings will help us better determine the labels and help us identify what we feel quicker. This is important to know, because more intense the feeling, more likely it’ll dictate your behaviors/actions. If we are able to recognize it and think through it, it’ll help us manage our behaviors/actions better. Simply put, it’ll ensure we don’t let our emotions hijack our behaviors…

Because there are physical sensations associated with emotions, one should use physical sensations to help rate and gauge their emotions. I think it may be good to observe my own thoughts and journal my own emotions, so I can gauge my behaviors and give it a rating over time. The context surrounding the emotions matter as well, so I can understand how much intensity is associated with what event and what emotions. Also, I can write stuff like how long has it been present, does it fluctuate, is it something I can handle well.

This may be hard to do, but it may be important.
